ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Roommate4you.com is owned and operated by Roommate4you.com, L.L.C. We provide services under certain terms and conditions that we call Terms of Use ("TOU"). We reserve the right to change these from time to time, without notice to you. It is your responsibility to check the TOU so that you are compliant. If you do not comply with the current TOU, we have the right to cancel your membership without notice. We do not refund costs and fees associated with are services. There may be other rules posted throughout the site which you will be required to obey.

SERVICES PROVIDED

We provide users with roommate resources (herein the "Service"). We assume no responsibility for information posted on this site originated by others, including, but not limited to users and advertisers. We assume no responsibility for the use of information you post on are site. We have no way of verifying or screening all postings and information given to us by a user. When posting content and communicating with other members of the service, be aware of the dangers associated with sharing such information. You should always be cautious when giving personal information to users or posting it publicly. Be cautious when using this service. The information you provided might be used by others to harm, harass or be used against you. All and any costs associated with accessing this site are your responsibility. Please be aware that this site may contain adult or mature content. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the services provided by us.

FEES AND COSTS

Free Membership is FREE. With a Free Membership you have a Basic membership. Free Membership members can add listings & browse for matches. In order to send messages to members, one must upgrade their membership. Fees for upgrading your membership are as follows: $4.95 for our 3-day trial, $18.95 for 30 days, and $24.95 for 60 days.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP OBLIGATIONS

To using this site you must be 18 years of age or older, you agree that any information that you provide to us (or others through this site) is true, current, accurate and complete information, and you are responsible for maintain and promptly update the Membership Data to keep it true, current, accurate and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, not current, inaccurate or incomplete, or we believe that such information is untrue, not current, inaccurate or incomplete, we have the right to terminate your membership and refuse any and all current or future use of our services. If we are to terminate your membership for any reason you are NOT entitle to a refund, reimbursement or compensation of any kind.

MEMBER ACCOUNT, PASSWORD AND SECURITY

When you set-up an account and make a password, you are responsible for all activities that occur under that account. You agree to protect and safeguard it against unauthorized use. In the event of any unauthorized use of your account or breach of security, you must immediately notify us. You must log out from your account at the end of each visit. You agree that you and you alone are liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to follow the instructions above.

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT (EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW):

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: (i) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE; (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (v) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.

MEMBER CONDUCT

You understand that we do not provide the information on the site and that all publicly posted or privately transmitted information, data, text, photographs, graphics, messages or other materials ("Content") are the sole responsibility of the person from which such Content originated. You agree and represent that you, are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, download, post, email, transmit or otherwise use or make available via the Services and this site. Since we do not control the Content posted on the site or sent to you from information gleaned from the site, we cannot and will not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content. You understand that by using the Service, you may be exposed to offensive, indecent or objectionable Content. j. that you will not disrupt the normal flow of dialogue, cause a screen to "scroll" faster than other users of the Service are able to type, or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other users' ability to engage in real time exchanges;

k. that you will not interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service;

l. that you will not "stalk" or otherwise harass another; or

m. that you will not collect or store personal data about other users.

LYou acknowledge that we do not pre-screen Content, but that Roommate4you.com, L.L.C. and its designees shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse, move, or remove any Content on the site for any reason we deem reasonable, in our sole discretion.

You agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any Content, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such Content. In this regard, you acknowledge that you may not rely on any Content created by us or submitted to us, including any you find on the site.

We may preserve Content in our sole discretion and we may also disclose such information to third parties to: (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce the TOU; (c) respond to claims that any Content violates the rights of third-parties; or (d) protect our rights, property, or personal safety or the rights, property and personal safety of our users and the public. The TOU constitutes the entire agreement between you and Roommate4you.com, L.L.C. and governs your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and Roommate4you.com, L.L.C. You also may be subject to additional terms and conditions that may apply when you use affiliate services, third-party content or third-party software. The TOU and the relationship between you and Roommate4you.com, L.L.C. shall be governed by the laws of the State of Virginia without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You and Roommate4you.com, L.L.C. agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the county of Fairfax, Virginia. You acknowledge that Roommate4you.com, L.L.C. shall have the right to take legal action against you if your actions violate the TOU and such violation results in damage to Roommate4you.com, L.L.C. or any of its affiliates. The failure of Roommate4you.com, L.L.C. to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the TOU shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of the TOU is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the TOU remain in full force and effect. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Service or the TOU must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.
